Shenzhen First Mile Communications Limited (FirstMileCom) is a privately-owned company founded in January 2003 by hi-tech veterans previously employed at such reputable companies as Nortel Networks, Cisco and JDS-Uniphase. We are dedicated to the developing and manufacturing of next generation highly reliable and cost effective all-optical access gear for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and fiber-to-the-building (FTTB) markets, and for applications where the environmental conditions exceed the reach of copper cables. By leveraging both the widely accepted and flexible Ethernet technologies and an intellectual property portfolio of more than 10 patents held by FirstMileCom, we have developed an Ethernet based point-to-point all-optical access platform OnAccess and point-to-multipoint passive optical networks (EPON) platform GigaAccess.
